No water anywhere - no puddles, no mud - even the streams are dry. Corners are loose and dusty in places. Beautiful ride though. Nettles? No big deal.

Rode Skookum S-to-N as part of the CCW Suntop-Skookum loop. Trail is in excellent shape at the moment. Hero dirt all the way.

Rode the Suntop-Skookum loop starting from the lower Skookum parking lot. Suntop is in great shape now, but will be getting dusty soon if we don't any rain. Just a couple of sandy patches on the way down. Only two wet stream crossings: the usual year...

Started from the discribed trailhead and turned left. Very wrong option... Got lost on non-trails and fire roads with significant stinging nettles. Finally worked our way back to the start and then went to the Right and we finally found trails! Defin...

This was a wonderful steady climb (but not a crazy climb).  You can bite off as much as you want but we road for a couple hours up and had an amazingly fun and fast ride down.  It's very hot in the afternoon so bring plenty of water.  ...

Reminder that it's fee parking if you drive all the way in but if you park before the sign on the side of the road it's not.  Trail was in great shape but in the dryer weather it's a little dusty so no big deal.  Very fun!

Rode solo with drop-off shuttle from Devil's Backbone TH near Handy Springs. Note that as of 6/13/2015, FS5900 (aka Shady Pass Rd) is closed at Shady Pass so the TH is not accessible from the Entiat side -- you must drive up 5900 from 25-Mile Creek i...

Did the ride out to the lake, starting in a clockwise direction (so up the road to Seattle water gate and onto single track from there) on what turned out to be a very hot day.  I'd say it was a good thing the lake was there and it was the perfe...

Great day in the Gulch. Took the fire road up past the Devils Gulch Trail to Mission Ridge Trail. Temps were in the 90's so a bit of a grunt on the way up. But trail was in great shape all the way down. Rivers were all passable and rideable except fo...

Trail was in great condition.  Only saw 3 other bikers.  Recent rains made trail nice and buff.

First time on this trail or in this area for that matter. My trooper of a wife dropped me off at the intersection of NF-9712 and Mission Ridge Rd. Due to my poor planning I was not aware she could have driven up 9712 to the trail head! Worse, I passe...
