2026 Dirty Dozen
We present the Dirty Dozen, our virtual trail challenge built to get you exploring trails across Washington.
Each trail is hand-selected by our regional chapters and neighboring trail orgs—hidden gems, backcountry epics, and a chance to experience a variety of trails in new places. While it’s not a competition, riders who complete the challenge and log these trail rides in TrailForks will earn the Dirty Dozen badge as a virtual medal of honor. Here is how to track your ride on TrailForks.
New this year: we have split the Dirty Dozen into two “Six Packs,” one “East Six Pack” and one “West Six Pack,” each with its own Trailforks badge. Complete one or go for the full twelve pack, AKA the DIRTY DOZEN.
Also new: if you do not track rides on Trailforks, you can still participate and get rewarded! Just submit proof of your ride via this Google Form and we will make sure you are counted.
This XC trail in the Liberty Lake area was recently completed by the Evergreen East Chapter, and is just as fun climbing as it is descending. It features a steady mix of twists and turns with smooth, well-shaped corners that keep the ride flowing. The layout strikes a nice balance between effort and reward, making it an enjoyable and playful experience in both directions.
1.8 miles. Blue / Intermediate.

Post-ride beverage or bite: Brick West Brewing, Spokane

A fast and rowdy trail that descends approximately 3000 vertical feet. The trail starts descending down a ridge through open meadows before diving back into the forest to finish off this great descent. The view from the top of Hamilton Butte is amazing, providing views of the Goat Rocks, Rainer, Adams, St. Helens, and Hood. This is a popular ORV area so watch out for motorized traffic. Thanks to our friends at Northwest Motorcycle Association for their maintenance work out in Randle, WA.
5.9 miles. Black / Advanced.
