End of Summer River Level
My last ride at Lord Hill was back in March when I was looking to see how the river was before the big snow melt started. Today I went back to get an ‘end of summer’ reference to see how low it was before the atmospheric rivers we get in November and December.
I started going up to do the Springboards and Erratic and then Meetcutter and the River Trail. There was about 1000-1500’ of shoreline you can ride on if desired currently and a couple fishermen hoping for a tug on their lines. I climbed back up the River Cutoff and then Rock Candy several times to get the flow and tech in for the rest of the ride. All trails were in good shape and the dry roots made for some good successes on the descents. The Trailforks ride log is located here.
