Getting Dry, Waiting For the Rainy Season

Needed a quick ride before a busy weekend started so I went over to Lord Hill with the mtb and got my flow and tech fixes satisfied. The soils were dry, but the roots were too, so traction was pretty good. I got a bit confident in that assessment and then my front tire washed out in a corner a couple minutes later. No injury was had, but with the new data, I used a little more care the rest of the ride. The Springboards, Wishbone, Third Eye, Liquid Bread, and Goldeneye were all running well. The West View Loop could use a few more berms to support the downhill, faster, sections. It looks like a couple riders washed out on some of those corners within the last week. The Trailforks Ride Log is here.
