Woodpecker, Petes and Magpie Awesomeness!

23 | Jun | '18

I participated in the 2018 Methow Valley Singletrack Celebration and Brewfest and it was INCREDIBLE!

These guys have made some new trails this year and they were incredible. Lower Petes (the new section) was totally worth the drive! Pete's is broken into about 4 sections, the first being a multiway trail to get to the top, the second gets a little more technical, the third takes you into burmy beautiful turns as you lower down and the forth is a short pump section to get you back to the main parking lot also known as Magpie.

Woodpecker was a good cross country ride of about 8 miles from the top back to the parking lot. Do it in the morning because it got warm! The traverses through the beautiful meadows allowed for some great photo ops and there was a cute lookout and a bench to stop and have break.

The conditions were good, a little sandy at the end of the day but thats what you get after shuttling a bunch of excited riders for 4 hours. Thanks again Methow Chapter, you truly showed us an incredible time. Most of us already decided we will be back next year!

Happy Shredding!
