Leavenworth Before the Memorial Day Crowds

On my way over the Cascades to take care of family business in Chelan, I stopped in Leavenworth to enjoy a really fun ride on Rosy Boa and Ribbed. I figured I’d get it done midweek now, instead of during the “zoo” that’s gonna happen over Memorial Day weekend. I parked at the Ski Hill lot and did the NUT and then joined up with Rosy Boa to have a fun descent down. The trail was dry but the traction was still good. Not a lot of moon dust yet. I climbed back up the NUT and then even further to descend on the old upper Ribbed and then the rest of Ribbed. The newer developments on Lower Ribbed with easier tables and jumps next to the open doubles or features is a wonderful enhancement to the trail. Kudos to the Central Chapter builders and gnomes. Today was a wonderful ride. The Trailforks Ride Log and pictures are here.
