I got to the base of Skyline at 10am and headed up to the lookout to get to the snow.  There was about 4” up near the lookout but truck tracks allowed for an easy climb to the summit.

After taking pictures at the summit, I started down Out of the Blue to get to Hoot Owl. The trail is pretty well covered and a bit dicey but the Levo helped me through the snow until the descent started. Once on the descent, the snow was just a hassle for braking and root visibility. I had to dab a bunch and the front tire slid out twice but no major fails. 

Once on Skyline, the trail was pretty clear and well drained but the wet roots were always ready to get me. But not this time. It was a really fun run! ;-)
