The Three V’s

14 | Sep | '24

Today’s goal was to accomplish my  “three V’s”. My riding style, defines those V’s as:

Views, Vertical, and Velocity.

I had a short amount of time this morning, so I chose a route this morning at Echo Ridge to satisfy my needs within the window of opportunity I had. For those of you who have the same desires I do, start at the bottom of Waterbar Heaven, climb Bergman Gulch, go counterclockwise on Outback (summiting on Mallory’s is optional, but it does have the best views) and then descend back on Waterbar Heaven. The extended  straightaways on the Outback and Waterbar Heaven really let you open it up as fast as you want. This route was so fun, I did it twice this morning. The trails were dry but I had a blast! Two rounds with one summit gets you 4000’ of vertical descending. The Trailforks ride log with a couple pictures is here.

Oh, a fourth V.....Venison, is in the report image. ;-)
