Great Tech Didn’t Disappoint

I’ve never done a Wenatchee ride yet and folks were telling me that Number Two Canyon has better tech than Sage Hills so I went to Number Two Canyon first this morning. It didn’t disappoint. I climbed the road to the top of Road Rage and came down it first. It was nice but corners were a little flat for a ripping descent and some corners were too tight when you thought you could carry some speed. Just have a cautious first run and after that you’ll be better prepared. PTD and MNIIM were a whole bunch of fun and also need a little pre-ride so you can carry speed for the drops when needed. I’m going back to both of these trails soon! My only bummer today was I had to ride in my regular tennis shoes instead of my bike shoes due to blisters from my Pyramid Mountain hike a bike. My foot  slipped off a pedal a couple different times in today’s flow and my shin paid for it. :-(  I needed new shoes anyway so after the ride, I hit a store in Wenatchee and got  my new pair.    Can’t wait to do today’s ride over again, but clipped in! Today’s track and pictures are on the Trailforks ride log located here.
