After getting a little less than a quarter of an inch of rain in the greater Snohomish area a couple days ago, I figured we’d have hero dirt at Lord Hill. I brought the Levo and went all over the park and also down to the river to stroll around the river banks. The river is pretty low now. The trail conditions were really good and the only places to be careful of were small gravel patches low in berms or the berms where folks have blown out. Watch out for hikers on the bike trails! I went off the Diving Board (log drop) and there was a mom and boy on the runout before the double. I had to brake, let them know more might be behind me and then went back up to do it over when the family cleared. The other thing to be aware of is the Goldeneye rock drop is signed “Trail Closed, Restoration Area” so just ride the traditional trail for now. The Trailforks Activity Log for the ride today is here.
