Oh Deer, Easier To See Them Now

Before I left the Chelan area today, I went up to Echo Ridge early to catch a few views and hopefully some wildlife. There was a group of four deer walking on the side of the road about a couple miles from the ski resort. So that was promising. I parked at the bottom of Waterbar Heaven and climbed to do the Outback and Waterbar Heaven and then back up to do Dust to Glory, Morning Glory, and the Ridgeviews before doing Bob’s, Devine Intervention, Shoe and then finished with Switchback Alley. The trails were all clear. The video of the descent from Bob's Overlook to the finish is located here. The wildfire fuel mitigation work done last Fall, mulched a lot of the brush in many areas. Without all the brush, it makes it much easier to find the deer walking around! Enjoy the Echo Ridge system at your next opportunity!
