Before the rains come Tuesday and Wednesday I wanted a ride in Mount Vernon to explore the neighborhood spur trails I haven’t been on at Little Mountain Park. I usually climb to the top for some pictures and then come down Pitch N Roll, Huff N Puff, and Bonnie and Clyde, along with Lay Z Boy, and Rooty. The descents down to the other trailheads are nice but having to climb back up is not as fun as just doing the other flow trails above and then climbing the road back up for the next run. All the trails were in great shape and the coming rain will be a good reset for the trails before the beautiful weekend weather coming. Put Pitch N Roll and Huff N Puff on your wish list this weekend.
