Before the next couple of days of rain, I decided to go to the midpoint of Out of the Blue before all the roots get really wet again. Climbing the road up to that midpoint was all clear except for the last third where several trees covered the road from all the wind damage this winter and a few more right near the midpoint. You will see the pictures taken at those locations in the Trailforks ride log. Today the soils were in really good shape, but there is a lot of wind damage that you can ride over. The biggest issue right now on Out of the Blue is at the double bridge where a huge root ball and two or three foot diameter tree has tipped over the bridges. Mother nature was getting back at us this time around. The bridges are OK, but it is impassible at that location. You will see that image also in the ride log.
The Trailforks Ride Log is here.
