{This report has nothing to do with Blue Mt per se but you can't file a report without some preselected route]. A few months ago I rode the P-5000 road from its start at Menzel Lk Rd to an FS rd that went up Mt. Worthy. Ditched the bike at one point and hiked to the top for good views of Mt. Pilchuck and surrounding area. The road beyond where I turned off looked well used, probably from logging traffic. I was curious if you could get all the way to Spada Lk. I started on that end, from the Culmback Dam Rd., rode across the dam to the N. shore of Spada and took a trail W. at the first 90º turn to the N. The trail's an old road that in <2 mi. connects to a still maintained FS rd. (unnumbered) that I rode several miles to a low point where another overgrown, decommissioned road led to Miller Ck.I brushbashed ~¼ mi. to the creek where I could see a road berm on the other side but no sign of a bridge--evidently completely removed or else in summer they just drove across it. The FS rd I took followed a ridge dividing the Sultan R. watershed from the Pilchuck R.drainage. This route never crosses the Pilchuck so would never link up with the P-5000 road, but does go to Lk Chaplain so you could theoretically access it from there. The P-5000 road stays on the N. side of Pilchuck R. and might be bikeable from Culmback Dam by staying on the N. side road ~2000' farther where at another 90º turn a different trail links up to it (on the map). The Pilchuck valley is fairly gentle and scenic and with no motorized vehicles except if they are logging somewhere. It's not bad riding and includes some actual trail. I cleared the trail section I rode and its now quite rideable although there is some blowdown at the FS rd end and one med tree to hoist bike over about midway. Someone with a saw could clear these obstacles fairly quickly.
