The sun came out this morning and rain stopped so I took a quick drive over to Japanese Gulch to get a couple of trails in before the next round of rain comes in here and snow in the mountains. Last time I was here was in July. The trails were well drained and only had a couple small puddles and just leaves and wet roots to worry about. Evan and other Japanese Gulch gnomes have been doing an excellent job at improving, and adding, challenging features to all these trails and it is just a wonderful place to ride, especially when the snow takes our upper elevations out of our possibilities. There are now two major jump line areas at the Gulch that you all should take a look at!!! The newest one is up near the upper lot along with the pump track that they put in there too.
The Trailforks ride log and pictures are here.
