Kittitas to Beverly

With both the recent rain and a 13 MPH tailwind we decided to shuttle to the Kittitas trailhead and then ride down to Beverly. It was fantastic. The fall colors were out in the desert, the sandy section before the tunnel was a bit firmer with the recent rain and the 17 mile downhill to the river was easy with the combination of the tailwind and the downhill slope making for almost no peddling on that section. In total we rode about 29 miles in an easy 3 hours.

I recomend that the trail is best suited for either a skilled rider on a mountian or something with wider tires to provide flotation on the loose gravel and sand. I did great on 27.5+ tires the 29' die fine but the 26" ebike with road tires provided some scary moments for it's rider.
