Good in spots

Rode this for the first time today, a hot day on the east side.  Started from south trailhead and the Loop Trail and Winston Highway were in good shape. Bugs out in force but it was cool in the shade.  Rode to the northwest and missed No Name in the clear cut.  Followed the timber rode and picked up Ridge which was in good shape and again in the shade.  Took the left onto Missing Link and made it through some overgrowth of blackberry.  Upper Yellow in good shape mostly, but the tried Lower Yellow.   big mistake as it was mostly overgrown where it was near or in the clear cut.   After bush wacky a few hundred yards through Blackberrys and other less thorny growth ended up bailing to the timber road right near No Name crossing.  Riding back the highway and the loop was flowy and quick. A good day in the shade.  Next time need to bring a machet.
