Rough Trail

Know going in, this is a rough trail.  Chewed up by motos, overgrown and extremely hazardous to bike, life and limb.  One in our party ripped his derailleur off on a rock in the trail and had to carry bike out last 3 miles.  Bottom half is in good shape, top half is challenging, to say the least.  Beautiful canyon, however, that not many people get in to.

We rode up FR4315 from Jolly Creek (Lake Cle Elum) side.  Not a bad climb, until the end, where there is a fair amount of hike-a-bike.  Descent into W. Fork Teanaway, roughly 10 miles, ate up just as much energy as the climb.  2 of the 3 of us finished by climbing up and over ridge (via Dingbat Creek to Ridgeline Road to Rat Pac) back into Roslyn.  Round trip was probably 27 miles, with well over 5000 feet of climbing in total.  6 hours, though my buddy (who crushed it) probably waited an hour for me on climb back over ridge into Roslyn due to the fact that I bonked and walked most of that final 1200'.
