General

A fun trail system with good single track and fun obstacles. Uphill and light downhill with lots ofl single track linked with small logging roads (only open to non-motorized use). No really big elevation anywhere but enough to make it interesting.  Trails lead all the way to Port Gamble starting near Poulsbo.  A great combination of mostly techy stuff but a fair bit of flow.  A little something for everyone.

The West Sound chapter of Evergreen does a lot of work on these trails. We keep them in pretty good shape and add the occasional new trail. The trails stay good much of the year except in the wettest of times.

Best conditions are in late spring through summer.  Beautiful trails that offer a little bit for everyone. Bring a map - or at least look at the trailhead maps!

The Hood Canal Brewery nearby lends a lot of support to Evergreen West Sound. Great beers from a mountain bike friendly place! They stay open late Tuesdays so that we can stop by after our Tuesday evening rides and give us a dollar off pints to boot! http://www.hoodcanalbrewery.com/

Valholl Brewing nearby  http://www.valhollbrewing.com/ also supports our Evergreen West Sound chapter.  They even named a beer in our honor - Weekend Warrior.  Order a pint and they give a dollar to our cause!

The landowner of the trail system, Olympic Property Group, graciously allows us to keep these trails on their land.  They own the Historic Village of Port Gamble at the North end of the Trail System which is a cool place to check out. Grab lunch at Butcher & Baker Provisions: https://www.butcherandbakerprovisions.com/ and check out the other businesses within the village or stop by one of their many festivals. http://portgamble.com/
