No diggity, no doubt this is THE female-identifying dig event of the year!

Women and female-identifying identifying folks are invited to dig alongside Evergreen trail builders and Red Bull Athletes for two days of bringing together the MTB community. To put it simply: we will dig, ride and chill.

WHAT: Shovel & Shred presented by Red Bull, two days of community and trail building with the women's mountain bike community.
WHEN: Saturday and Sunday May 18 - 19th, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, optional 7 PM après at Whitehorse Campground.
WHERE: Moe’s Darrington and North Mountain, Darrington WA.
CAMPING*: Is optional. We highly recommend camping Saturday night to enjoy the après. See below for camping recommendations.

SHOVEL: Saturday is a full day of trail work and learning! Led by our Evergreen trail builders and Red Bull athletes, we'll be digging on North Mountains Skills Park, which needs maintenance and feature reconstruction. The community asked and we are bringing all 60 of you together to make it happen! A filling lunch will be provided by Moe's Darrington.

SHRED: Sunday is ferda girls, with a full day of shuttling. We will throw on the bike gear and hop in the vans with Huckwagons to shuttle the trails you fixed up on North Mountain with a bunch of rad women! There are a few options of trail from “spicy blue” to “spicy black”, sign-ups will be run the day-of. Shuttles will be running all day provided by Sacred Rides and Huckwagon.

CHILL: As any MTB weekend, Saturday night we will be providing après session, complete with drinks and a place to hang, where you can reflect on the day, high-five the accomplishments, and connect for future greatness! Dinner is not included, however Darrington offers great places to dine or cook your own meal at your campsite!

We are really excited for the day and we have great support from Red Bull, SRAMTransitioneqpdMoe’s CafeSacred RidesMiir, Huckwagons MTB Shuttle Trailer and many more. We will have a photographer on-site to capture the epic fun throughout the day!

*Camping: We recommend supporting the community by booking a campsite at Whitehorse campground. If you are looking for alternative camping options please reach out to Liz Lunderman at .

There are scholarships available to cover the cost of the event fee, please email for more details.
