Evergreen’s Trail Gnome Family Continues to Grow

The saddest part about an Evergreen work party is learning that trail gnomes don’t exist—but that’s also the greatest part. Volunteers get to meet the actual builders—the passionate crews who coordinate, facilitate, and craft the trails we love. And we’ve just grown by two more: Mark Lovejoy and Dylan Glaser.

While both are passionate riders eager to develop the projects that Evergreen has mapped throughout the area, Mark, an Arlington native, is now Project Manager of the Darrington MTB project stationed near North Mountain while Dylan will use his expertise as a Trail Builder at OllalieTigerBDOS, and Duthie (as well as in Darrington).

And as the outdoor crew continues to grow, Evergreen HQ has developed its own plans to serve the needs of the biking community—by searching for a Program Coordinator & Admin Assistant for our main office! We’re excited to fill this new position and continue to operate as a lean, green, advocacy & maintenance machine.

It’s a great time to be an Evergreen member; we’ve got more projects that ever, mountain biking has a bright future in our state, and our staff of talented and passionate riders continues to look for new additions—if that’s you or someone you know, check out our jobs page. We’ll warn you though—our stoke is infectious.
