Rode all the way to the lake, no snow (a couple of spots where it's still there, but plenty of room to ride around it, not covering the whole trail.)

Maybe 5 (?) trees down on the whole ride... nothing you can't carry your bike over, but too big for my handsaw.   

As Davgol mentions, I did see a pile or two of bear scat out towards the lake... (not sure what 'beer scat' is. =) ... but no bears... or beers.
