Crank Sisters Intermediate/Advanced ride, Off the Grid-Fully Rigid-Joy Ride @ Tiger Mountain

This is a ladies-only ride.

Meet at Tiger Mountain upper parking lot at 9 AM. Drive through the DOT lot off Hwy 18. Turn left onto the gravel road to reach the upper lot. Meet by the bathrooms. Parking at the upper lot requires a Discovery Pass.

Please be on time--we cannot wait more than 10 minutes for late arrivers.

Grunt rating: This ride goes to the top of the mountain - expect to climb about 2000ft total. This ride is all about the SUPER FUN descent - we'll take plenty of breaks on the way up to make sure we all make it feeling rested and ready to have fun on the downhill. All levels of climbers are welcome :) Total ride time should be around 3 - 3.5 hours. 

Technical Rating: The downhill is considered a black diamond so be prepared for plenty of rock and root gardens - all can be walked if necessary. There are many great opportunities for sessioning so if you've walked by a feature many times and need some group support to look at it and try, this ride is your chance!

Please make sure your bike is in good working order--if you're not sure, have it checked by your bike mechanic.

Bring: Lots of water, snacks, a spare tube and pump to fix a flat tire.
