Crank Sisters  Intermediate +. All gender identities are welcome. This is a no-drop ride and we will regroup as needed. Please know your skill set and be prepared for a lot of climbing. You should be able to stay on your bike most of the time and walk a section here and there as needed —Please already have successfully ridden at least one of the following to do this ride: middle/lower PT, OTG, Atlas, CCDH, and/or No Service.  Other similar black and Spicy Blue trails will substitue for experience. 

This ride is limited to 18+ years old unless riding with a parent or guardian.  All riders need to meet the above experience requirements.

E-Bikes:  King County Parks adopts the same position as DNR: You can legally use E-Bikes on trails if you have an ADA place card in your car. Here is the link to trails that allow E-Bikes without needing an ADA card: https://www.evergreenmtb.org/ebikeaccess

Before you RSVP for this ride, please sign the waiver at https//.www.evergreenmtb.org/my/waiver: Right click and click open in new window. This waiver needs to be signed once a year. When you click the link, it will tell you whether you have signed this year. If not, it will give you a link to sign it.

  • Please cancel your RSVP before the ride time if you can’t make the ride. Text the rider leader Bobbie Howard: 425-219-3110 if you have to cancel within two hours of the ride.Please RSVP at least 2 hours before the ride.

Route: The route will be decided by the group.  Below is the list of possible trails:

Upward Mobility and Raging River and Raging Tiger: smooth climbing trail with some roots and rocks

CCDH: Spicy Blue Trail: downhill with roots and rocks

No Service: Double Black Trail: downhill with roots and rocks

Physical Therapy: Double Black Trail: downhill with roots and rocks

Poppin Tops and Flow State: Single Black and Blue Trails: many rollable or jump sections with fast flow berms

Directions

From Seattle take Exit 27 off of I90.  Take a right at the bottom of the off ramp.  Drive about less than 1 mile up the road.  You can park in the main enterance gate on the right but need a Discover Pass.  Otherwise park outside of the gate.   • Restroom: there are restrooms at start.

Equipment:

  • Please bring a mountain bike in good working order, helmet, 2+ liters of water, electrolytes, backpack with many snacks, and spare bike tube.

Conditions for cancellation: (heavy wind, lightning, flooding etc.) If a ride must be canceled, the ride leader will attempt to contact anyone signed up by 3pm the day before the ride or in the morning day of ride.
