Evergreen Crank Sisters Intermediate ride, Tiger Mountain

This is a ladies-only ride.

Meet at the East Tiger Summit upper lot at 4 PM. Enter the DOT lot off highway 18, drive straight, then left up the gravel road to the upper lot on your right. You need a Discover Pass to park here--I recommend getting one (yearly or daily, available online). If you don't have one, you can park in the DOT lot off highway 18. If you do park in the lower lot, leave 10 extra minutes to ride up to meet us by 4 PM.

Starting time is 4:20 AM.  Please be on time—we cannot wait more than 10 minutes for late arrivers.   If you sign up and decide not to come, PLEASE text me!

Trails:  MasterLink, to Inside Passage, to Joy Ride, and Northwest Timber back to the parking lot.  These are all intermediate trails and we can stop to look at technical features.

Conditions for cancellation:  heavy wind, lightning. If a ride must be cancelled, the ride leader will attempt to notify anyone signed up by 12pm day of.

Grunt rating: The initial climb is about 2 miles give or take. I am a super slow climber; think toddler on a bike but without the complaining. But I go much faster on the downhill. I would say we could take it slow, but you will definitely be climbing faster than me so there is no choice on the climb. With snail-paced climbing and a faster downhill, this ride should take around two hours to complete. Bring plenty of water and a snack.

Bring a tube so you can change a tire.  Please make sure your bike is in good working order.  If you're not sure, have your bike mechanic check it before you sign up.

Crank Sisters have a no-drop policy.  We will regroup often and adjust the pace based on riders' preference.

Sessioning is encouraged.
