Sunday Social with Ride Bicycles

Our monthly group ride for 2024!

When?

On Februray 25th

Where?

Our starting point will be Rattlesnake Lake Park. We will meet in the parking area near the restrooms (look for our tent and van).

Who is this ride for?

February is Valentine's month So staying with that theme this group ride will be lead by power couple Christiaan Bourdrez (owner of Ride Bicycles) and Kat Sweet (Sweelines founder). We would love to see all you mountain bike couples on this ride! If you would like to rent an e-MTB use a discount code couplesride24 at Ride Bicycles (https://ridebicycles.com/pages/bike-rentals) for 50% a demo rental. An e-MTB is not necessary for this ride.Olallie is one of the only trails in the area that allows e-MTBs (electric-assist mountain bikes), so we welcome both e-MTBs and non-eMTBs. The trail difficulty is classified as a blue square. Riders should be fit enough to not walk up the climb. The descent is not technical; it is a fast flowy trail with a few tight switchbacks.

Leaving from the parking lot our ride will be ~10 miles roundtrip estimate.

What to bring?

Bring a helmet, jacket, warm gloves, water, snacks and maybe some hand warmers. Ride Bicycles will be providing coffee and donuts at the meet and greet before we begin pedaling.

Meet and greet starts at 9:30a and ends at 10:00a. At 10:00a we will leave the parking lot and start our ride. At the end of the ride, you are all welcome to join us for a post ride beer(not provided by Ride Bicycles) at Southfork North Bend (https://southforknorthbend.com/).

Please RSVP at Evergreen MTB Alliance (https://www.evergreenmtb.org/calendar) and we hope to see you there. For news on events, group rides and products, please follow us on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/ridebicycles/. If weather or trail conditions are too poor to ride we will post a cancellation notice or change of trail on Evergreeen’s website and on our Ride Bicycles Instagram page.

A Discovery Pass is required to park inside the Rattlesnake Lake Park. If you do not have a Discovery Pass, one can be purchased online ( https://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/ ). You may also park outside of the park's gate and pedal in a short distance to the meet up area.
