Evergreen Crank Sisters Beginner-mediate Ride--new trail on Tiger Mountain

This is a ladies-only ride.

Meet at East Tiger Summit Upper lot at 5:30 PM (Enter the DOT lot off highway 18, go straight, then left up the gravel road to the upper lot on your right.) You will need a Discover Pass to park here. If you don't have one, you can park in the lower lot (off the highway), but get there early enough to ride up the road to meet us by 5:30. It takes about 10 minutes.

Starting time is 5:40.   Please be on time—we cannot wait more than 10 minutes for late arrivers.   If you sign up and decide not to come, PLEASE text me!

Trails:  We will climb up the first half of of Masterlink (less than 1000 feet of elevation gain over 1.5 miles), then ride the new trail (Inside Passage) to Silent Swamp, then take the road to Northwest Timber.

This route is shorter than our usual route (Summit to Preston).  

Conditions for cancellation:  heavy wind, lightning, Zombie apocalypse.  We ride in the rain and heat!

If a ride must be cancelled, the ride leader will attempt to notify anyone signed up by 3 pm the day before.

Grunt rating: Still a climb at the start, but we won't be going to the summit--Inside Passage leaves the climbing trail about halfway up. We won't be climbing fast, but we do need to get back to the cars before dark, so bring your lungs and be ready to use them.

Crank Sisters have a no-drop policy.  We will regroup often and adjust the pace based on riders' preference.

Sessioning is encouraged. We can stop to look at technical sections, and everything is walkable.

Bring water, some food, a tube so you can change a tire if needed, and lights if you have them.

Expect to ride for about 3 hours
