Remember yesterday? That was the day Washington mountain bikers broke the internet with their donations.
Despite problems with the GiveBig site, our members continued to donate and email us and brought us to where we are right now: just $4,000 away from our goal!

With over 100,000+ visitors every year, Duthie Hill Bike Park requires some TLC every once in a while—and that time is now.
To help improve your ride experience, King County Parks and Evergreen Trail Crews will be working on several trails on May 4th, 5th, 9th, and 10th. Since some of this work will require tree work, several trails will be closed during this time.

It’s hard to be a card-carrying member of Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance if you don’t actually have a card to carry.

What’s the benefit of a stacked loop system? How can you avoid trail creep? Why is 30-50% considered the best side hill grade for trails?
If you don’t know the answers to these questions (don’t feel bad), you can ask any of the graduates of the 2016 Trail School this past April 10th.

If the hills of the Teanaway could talk, they would tell tales of bubbling lava, ancient jungles roamed by coyote-sized horses, and a shoreline triggered by great blocks of melting glacial ice.
While all is quiet in the Teanaway now, the beauty that we enjoy today was formed by massive events that gave rise to one-of-a-kind geologic features. The fascinating landscape has a history of drawing people to its landscape, just a few miles east of Cle Elum. It’s a popular recreation destination for cross-country skiers, campers, ORV owners, and mountain bikers.

The saddest part about an Evergreen work party is learning that trail gnomes don’t exist—but that’s also the greatest part. Volunteers get to meet the actual builders—the passionate crews who coordinate, facilitate, and craft the trails we love. And we’ve just grown by two more: Mark Lovejoy and Dylan Glaser.
While both are passionate riders eager to develop the projects that Evergreen has mapped throughout the area, Mark, an Arlington native, is now Project Manager of the Darrington MTB project stationed near North Mountain while Dylan will use his expertise as a Trail Builder at Ollalie, Tiger, BDOS, and Duthie (as well as in Darrington).
