Evergreen MTB is excited to welcome aboard 22 freshly-trained volunteer Mountain Bike Instructors to help riders all over the state build their skills! Over the course of separate extended weekend sessions, two groups of instructors participated in intensive training and successfully passed a rigorous final exam to become Evergreen Instructors.

Thanks to many new instructors residing outside of King County, Evergreen classes will reach more people in 2015. Along with Duthie Hill Bike Park, instructors will teach at Swan Creek Park in Tacoma and in several other locations Statewide through Evergreen’s East, Central, and West Sound Chapters!

Evergreen MTB volunteer instructors commit to instructing classes throughout the spring and summer in order to provide opportunities for aspiring mountain bikers to learn and progress.

Of course, providing quality mountain biking instruction begins with providing quality training. Evergreen is fortunate to have qualified veteran mountain bike instructors who—through years of experience teaching all levels of mountain biking—progress into roles as Instructor Trainers. This allows Evergreen to provide quality training that best serves class participants.
