Paradise Valley Work Party-CANCELLED!!!
Due to excessive winds and rain, this scheduled work party has been CANCELLED
Come join us at the Paradise Valley Conservation Area in Woodinville for some much needed trail maintenance.
This week we'll continue working on the Two Trees trail. We'll be clearing drains, doing a bit of brush work and finding new ways to divert all this rain we've gotten. We'll also be doing some wood feature cleaning on Cedar Run, so bring your wire brushes.
Meet at the NE 205th St (Yellow House) entrance (NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE MAIN PARKING LOT).
Put 18233 NE 205th St., Woodinville 98077 into your favorite mapping application and you'll arrive at the meeting spot (Google map here).
Please bring if you have them:
- Spade shovel
- McCleod
- Handsaw
- Pruners
- Wheelbarrow (optional)
- Wear long pants, sturdy shoes & gloves
- Dress in layers and make sure you have some rain gear (this is the Pacific NorthWET after all)
- Food and water
We have a few extra tools if you need some.
We try to leave by 9 so get there a few minutes early to sign-in
Weather and cancellation:
If it's raining lightly we usually work. Really heavy rains or wind we typically cancel. Cancellations will be posted here and emailed to everyone who signs up by 8:00am the day of the work party.
