*CANCELED* STA New Year's Day Ride and Party

 If you've been following the weather report, we're in for some big rain the next few days, including quite a bit of rain on New Year's Day. Some of our favorite trails will be pretty soggy and we want to minimize damage. Because of this, we've decided to cancel the ride.

Please watch for other STA rides as we get closer to spring.

Kick off the new year on your mountain bike!

Come ride a PRIVATE TRAIL NETWORK on over 100 acres of private forest.

The trails range from tight technical to more flowing. Expect some hill climbing (but you get the descent too), as well as some roots and technical trails.  Ride alongside creeks, a pristine river and THROUGH massive old growth stumps. These trails are somewhat reminiscent of Paradise Valley, but not quite as rooty as Paradise and with much more spectacular scenery! You need to be a strong intermediate or advanced rider with some endurance. These trails are not suitable for beginners.

We will have two ride paces - all riding the same trails.

PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME: We cannot wait more than 10 minutes for late arrivers. If you cannot make it, please contact the ride leaders!

Grunt rating: Some steep climbs, roots and rocks. Expect to ride about 2.5-3 hours.

Post ride BBQ and social! Stay after the ride for some fun social time in front of the roaring fireplace! Bring a change of clothes, your favorite beverage, something for the grill and a dish to share.
