We have suspended all Evergreen community events, education classes, volunteer work parties and in-person meetings through May 31st. This applies statewide across our 8 chapters. If you have signed up for an Evergreen-sponsored event happening during this time, you will be contacted by an administrator.

Good news: You can host a virtual event, and add it to the Evergreen calendar same way as any other event before. Simply log in and hit the New Event button.

Big Finn Hill Park - Trail Brushing Work Party

Join us to help cut back nettles, salmonberry, blackberry and other fast-growing vegetation that inevitably needs to be trimmed back from the trails this time of year.

Big Finn Hill Park + St Edward State Park have a great, connected trail ecosystem that is some of the closest riding to the Seattle metro/East-side. If you haven't been here, come check in out...and if you live nearby, come lend a hand to make a great trail riding experience for everyone.

We'll focus on the trails in the Southeast corner of Big Finn Hill Park (East of Juanita Dr. and South of NE 138nd St--S and SW of the Lacrosse field) for this work-party.

We'll have tools needed for trimming the trails, but if you have a favorite weed cutter or light saw (or machete, ninja sword, etc.), feel free to bring it.

What you should bring: Gloves and eye protection.

Where to meet: Big Finn Hill Park parking lot on NE 138th St--east of Juanita...at the far NE corner of the parking lot, across from the playground.

When: 9:30 AM - until we're tired (11:30 or noonish) Sunday, June 16th
