Teanaway Trailfest - RatPac Brushing

Come on out and let's get as much of Rat Pac brushed as we can.

When: Saturday June 20, 2026 - be ready to go by 10:30am

We are going to brush the trail out - this means lopping, sawing, snipping and whacking back brush. Make sure you bring a hat, some sort of eyewear, gloves, closed-toe footwear and a long-sleeved shirt will be best. Bring a hand saw, snippers or loppers if you have them. If you have a battery powered tool you want to use, that works. No gas powered tools please. I'll have some extra loppers and rakes to rake the brush off the trail.

Don't forget water and a snack!

It's a short walk up from the parking area to the bottom of the trail, and then we will start brushing as we go up.

I put down four hours for the work party, but the actual time we spend depends on how hot it is, how far we get and how everyone is feeling. If you need to leave early, it's no problem, just head back down to your car.

After the work party those who are interested can make the short driver over to DruBru for the Teanaway Trailfest (https://www.drubru.com/trail-fest/) where we are raising money for the trails on the Cle Elum Ridge and the trails in the Teanaway Community Forest. It's going to be fun!
