Wow, the time has finally come! We are overjoyed to invite you to the grand opening of the Tennant Trail System, Saturday at 9:00 AM. The Tennant trail system, built by the community for the community, is extra special for Evergreen. With Evergreen HQ nestled in the heart of North Bend, we are excited to open these trails just a mile away.
Saturday is all about celebrating this milestone together. Here is what you can expect:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Park is Open! (Dawn to Dusk)
Key Times for Light Activities:
9:00 AM - Drop into Arête Cafe for some Evergreen themed beverages and breakfast
10:00 AM - Evergreen Trail Talk: meet at the Evergreen Tent in the Tennant Trailhead Parking Lot to hear from Evergreen team on the history of Tennant and new projects coming up
5:00 PM - Live music at Arête Cafe and brews at Volition Brewery (10% off beers for Evergreen members!)
Parking is limited at the trailhead, we are recommending folks park in and around Arête Cafe and Volition Brewery and ride to the trail head. The ride is along the road for one mile.

Parking
Tennant Trailhead parking lot has limited parking. For the grand opening, we are asking folks to join us to park around Arete Cafe and Volition Brewery and ride over. If you do not want to ride, folks are also welcome to park on the shoulder of West Ribary Road. If you have small kids with striders, please park near the Tennant Trailhead. Remember to use road etiquette when driving over, please keep kids close.
What to Bring
This is a fun day in town and on the trails! Please remember to bring:
- Water
- Snacks and lunch (if you are not eating out on the town, Arête has great lunch options)
- Sunscreen
- Check the weather forecast, raincoats and warm clothes may be needed
- Bike and bike gear
- Evergreen swag! Represent the legendary cog with your Evergreen shirts, hats, gloves, etc.
Trails
The Tennant Trail System offers two wonderful sections. Above the parking lot, a progressive flow section with green, blue and black options. Below the parking lot, a progression technical section. You can read more about the trails here.
