Sturdy Trail School 1

This one is for the ladies!*

Join the Sturdy B's and Evergreen for Trail Maintenance 101 at Raging River!

*by ladies we mean women - we use an inclusive definition of "woman/women" and "female". We welcome anyone who experiences life as a woman, identifies as a woman, are gender fluid/diverse/queer/expansive, questioning, or non-binary.

We will start our day in the classroom learning about what exactly is involved in trail work and why it is important. We will learn about stewardship, trail construction and soil types, and the foundations of trail maintenance. After the classroom session we will break for lunch (provided by the Sturdy B's and their generous sponsors) before heading out to the trails to put our trail knowledge into action.
