Crank Sisters Intermediate Ride – Pilchuck Tree Farm
Pilchuck Tree Farm has some fantastic flowy trails, but you gotta work for them. There is a fair bit of climbing – think Tiger to the top climbing endurance – but not technical on the way down = FUN!
We’ll climb for about 1.5-2 hours, get some fun downhill and then enjoy lunch at the beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Sound. A little bit more climbing then…down down down!
Crank Sisters have a no-drop policy. We will regroup often and adjust the pace based on riders' preference.
Logistics:
Meet at the 300th Street (small) parking area at 9am. Take exit 215 (300th St, north of Stanwood) off I-5 and go east to nearly the end. Parking on right side of the road just past 15th Ave NE. Because of the small parking area, carpooling is encouraged.
Please be on time - we cannot wait more than 10 minutes for late arrivers.
Because this is private forestland, the Pilchuck Recreation Association requires you to sign a waiver (similar to Tokul). This is a separate waiver from the Evergreen waiver. You can get a copy in advance, sign and mail it or just sign one at the parking area. Waiver at: http://www.pilchuckra.org/
