Springtime riding near Leavenworth: Xanadu and Freund Canyon

If yes, then join the Evergreen back country crew as we head to Leavenworth to ride a couple legendary trails, Xanadu and Freund Canyon. Both trails are worthy of being destination trails and we’re riding them both in one day! The morning ride will be on Xanadu which starts with a mellow road climb to the top and then a rocky, sometimes steep descent. No stunts but a few tricky spots that you can walk down. I’d recommend having intermediate or better riding skills for this one. We’ll then drive over to Leavenworth and ride up For the Boys to access Freund Canyon, a mostly single track climb and then we will have the option of riding the Freund Canyon flow trail (big bermy jumps) or Rosy Boa (old school with some exposure). Then back down For the Boys to the cars, dinner in Leavenworth, and then drive back home. We’ll meet at the Preston Park and Ride at 7:30 which will get us to the trailhead before 10.
