Early Season Crank Sisters Coed Central Washington Exploration Rides--Social/Beginner-Mediate (No Drop)

Crank Sisters is going to The Gorge! My son has a rock climbing trip in Vantage over the weekend, so I'm taking my bike to explore the riding there. Join for one day or for the weekend; whatever works for you. Weather shows sunny days in high 60's, and nights in the mid 40's. This will be a flexible schedule; will try to meet the needs of anyone who wants to participate. Local Central Washington Crank Sisters are welcome to join us and show us around! This event is Coed, everyone is welcome. Discover Pass needed

Tentative (Evolving) Plan:

Camping
Arrive Friday evening & camp at Wanapum State Park near Vantage  (which supposedly has everything from tent camping to full hook-ups). Wanapum Campgound is currently first-come, first serve. Someone will be heading over mid afternoon & we can grab you a spot if you like. You are welcome to join or do what works for you. The riding is about half an hour drive from the camping areas. Discover Pass needed

Riding
Tentative Saturday Ride at Ancient Lakes (Gorge Amphitheatre area), likely starting around 10 am (probably several hours, mellow speed exploring the area mostly on Greens & Blues, No Drop). Discover Pass needed

Tentative Sunday Ride at Beezely Hill in Ephrata, likely starting around 10 am (probably ~10 miles, ~1,000 elevation gain, ~2 hours ride time, mellow speed, mostly Greens & Blues, No Drop)

Plans will likely evolve through the week, as we get closer to the weekend. Please sign up if you're IN, and text me with questions or if you're interested & want more info. I will keep in touch by text with people who sign up so we're all on the same page. Feel free to participate in one ride or for the weekend (Social Pace, No Drop). Discover Pass needed

Ride leader contact info: Katherine Meyer (206) 849-7699

Proposed trails to ride are subject to change based on weather, trail conditions, etc
Conditions for cancellation: heavy wind, lightning, deep snow. We ride in the rain and cold! If a ride must be cancelled, the ride leader will attempt to notify anyone signed up by 3 pm the day before
