This Ride is CO-ED, and paired with the STA ride (also posted) We'll have a minimum of two ride leaders and a strong intermediate/advanced group and faster paced advanced group going out on this ride. These trails are not well suited for beginner/intermediates, but strong intermediate to advanced riders will have a blast!

Post Ride Chili Cook Off! That's right we are throwing down the first ever STA chili challenge! If you make good chili take the challenge and bring a pot of your awesome chili to share at the post ride chili cook off! Riders will vote on the best chili and the winner will win a prize! (Not that I'd have a chance to win, but my chili will be disqualified from taking the prize) So bring your best pot of chili and win!

Bring your preferred beverage and, if not chili, something to share.

This ride is on PRIVATE trails, which means you have exclusive access to some pretty cool terrain and exceptional river views. Expect some hill climbing (but you get the descent too), as well as some roots and strong intermediate/advanced technical trails. The hills are fairly short but some are a bit of a grunt. You will ride alongside creeks, the River, through two old growth stumps and a brand new section of trail that traverses the slope along the river past massive old growth trees.

THIS RIDE IS FOR STRONG INTERMEDIATE OR ADVANCED RIDERS. If you are confident on all trails at Paradise or Tapeworm, you're fine for these trails.

OPTIONAL POST-RIDE Chili Cook off: We will enjoy post-ride chili cook off as we relax by the fire.  We need both chili cook off contestants and judges. We will have our big pot of Chili and hope some of you will take on the cook off challenge too!

RIDE TIME: Meet and sign in at 12:30pm. Remember it is better to be early than late. Ride at 12:45pm expect to ride 2.5 to 3 hours, and about 10 to 12 miles.

The location is not posted publicly, as this trail network is on private forests land. If you are interested, please email, and we will send you directions.

Ride leader contact info:  Jessica Peterson 206.999.2316 or Russ Peterson 206-930-3995
