This course starts with the basics of correct body positioning and applies these skills to increase your confidence, safety, and efficiency in climbing, descending, braking, and approaching obstacles on the trail.
Apply what you’ve learned in Foundations 1 and increase your confidence in more difficult terrain. This class will review the basics, improve your body position, and introduce you to cornering techniques.
Areas of Focus:
- Review of body position, balance, braking and descending
- Cornering
- Advanced Obstacle Clearance
- Trail skills including roll downs and berms
Prerequisites: MTB Foundations Level 1
