Crank Sisters' Intermediate Tiger ride with slower climb

This ride is for anyone who identifies as female

  • Crank Sisters has a no-drop policy.

About the Trails / Ride / Grunt Rating

We will start with 2.5- 3 mile climb. We will go slower but at a steady pace, with a few stops. Be ready for 1600-1800” elevation gain:)

Potential routes depending on how fast we climb:

Summit East Tiger (Blue)  - OTG (blue with a few black features) - Crooshaul - Atlas (spicy blue)

OTG - Crooshaul - Atlas

NOTG dropin (Black) - lower OTG - Crooshaul - Atlas

About the trails:

OTG: is black but if you walk a few features, it’s blue.

Atlas: blue - but definitely spicy…….steep and techy.

NOTG drop-in: steep with rollable drops ( but super short, it is just to get to OTG so you can walk it)

You can use Trailforks to learn more about the trails.

ARE YOU READY?

This ride is best for those who are able to ride OTG, Atlas at about 95% rate. It is difficult to stop and wait for each other on trails like Atlas so we would regroup at the end of the trail.

Tiger/ Raging River ratings are different from lower elevation bike part ratings. For example: A blue trail at BDOS or at Duthie is much easier than a blue trail at Tiger.

You should be able to comfortably ride Side Hustle, ET, and  the Lower loop (Inside Passage, Joyride and NWT) before attempting OTG and Atlas.
