Paving the Way for Greater Accessibility and More Parking at Camp Sekani
At the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance East Chapter, we are not just passionate about creating and sustaining the best mountain bike trails but also about ensuring the finest experiences even before you hit the trails. This drive for excellence is why we have embarked on a mission to pave our Camp Sekani parking lot.
Why Are We Paving the Parking Lot?
Over the years, we have welcomed an increasing number of biking enthusiasts, families, and volunteers who come to experience the fun and adventure our trails offer. However, with growth comes the need for expansion and enhancement of facilities to continue providing an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
The current gravel parking lot has served us well, but it is not without its challenges. During the rainy season, it becomes muddy, making it difficult for visitors to find suitable parking spaces. In contrast, during the dry season, it becomes dusty, which is not ideal for our bikers and the environment.
