We have suspended all Evergreen community events, education classes, volunteer work parties and in-person meetings through May 4th, 2020. This applies statewide, across our 8 chapters. If you have signed up for an Evergreen-sponsored event happening during this time you will be contacted by an administrator shortly.

Good news: You can host a virtual event, and add it to the Evergreen calendar same way as any other event before. Simply log in and hit the New Event button.

Hansen Ridge Loop brush cutting

09/16/2018,  9:00 am -  2:00 pm
Work Parties

The Hansen ridge loop is in need of a hair cut.  Young alder trees are trying to completely close off the trail.  Let's cut open the trail and enjoy the beautful expansive views while we're at it.  Once we get the Hansen loop clear we will begin shuttle work parties.  That's right I said shuttle!  Once we clear the loop we will start brush cutting the Carter creek segment towards the Harris Lake trail.

Plan on meeting at 9AM at the Hansen Ridge trailhead (see directions below). Bring your bike! we will be climbing up the access road and brushing in a clockwise direction on the loop.  We'll finish the day riding the rest of the loop.
