Saltese Dig

Saltese RideSpring is here and we are so ready to roll!  Join Evergreen East for a day of both trail maintenance and a chill no-drop ride through the scenic Saltese Uplands, with a BBQ after!  Saltese is a great place to get those pre-season lungs and legs back in shape!  This is also a chance to give back to our community and help maintain these awesome trails before the ride--no experiece necessary!  Tools will be provided.  Stay for the whole event, attend just the dig, or join just the ride.  We just want to see you there!  Make sure to stick around after the ride and enjoy some yummy hot dogs and refreshments provided by Evergreen East.

Directions

Park and meet at the large parking lot in the Saltese Conservation Area off Henry Road https://maps.app.goo.gl/vGe1kgvHt6BVDjfV7 .  For the dig, be ready to roll at 8:30am.  For just the ride, be ready to roll at 11:30am.  See Schedule below for details.

Ride Description

There will be ride options for all rider levels on this no-drop ride. Choose the beginner Uplands Loop of approximately 4 miles and 400 ft of elevation or a more intermediate ride with the addition of the Summit Loop for approximately 6 miles and 700 ft of elevation. We will split into groups based on the desired route. Additional loops and trails may be ridden if time allows and based on rider input. The ride will be fun for the whole family.  Children with riding experience on singletrack trails are welcome to join, if accompanied by their parent or guardian (children under 12 can only attend the ride, NOT the dig portion please).  Please make sure to sign a waiver for them as well, see the link above.
