Rat Pac Work Party

Come help get Rat Pac ready to ride this season. We are going to focus on the top third where the trail was heavily impacted by logging and mastication last year. We'll be clearing debris from the trail, fixing the tread where the machines ran over the trail, limbing, brushing and buffing.

We will meet at the Alliance Rd. turnaround (just past the Coal Mine Trail Crossing) and carpool up to the ridge. Kay from Mountain to Sound will be joining the workparty and will be bringing a few spare tools that can be loaned out. Bring a spring rake and handsaw/loppers/pruning shears as there is a lot of debris on the trail to be cleared and lot's of overhanging branches that need to be cut back.

Dress for the weather, bring gloves, food and water.

We plan to work for 3-4 hours. If you want to bring a bike and get a shuttle lap in, we will make best effort to accomodate you!
