Port Gamble after work dig
To do our part to keep our community safe and healthy and in accordance with State and land manager guidelines, Evergreen requires all work party volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If you would like to volunteer independently or learn more, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
With autumn here as well as some very necessary rainfall we are resuming work on the Port Gamble Ride Park.
Come out and dig for an hour or two with our full time builders. These Friday dig days will be less organized than the Saturday events, so RSVP if you think you want to join and text if you can't find us.
We will be working on the backbone of the ride park currently known as the upper traverse. This trail will connect the start of all of the new trails to come, and needs to be conplete before we start on other projects.
Access: We ask that participants hike or ride in from the Stumps parking lot to reduce the amount of traffic in the park. Use the map below to navigate to the work site. The pedal up from the parking area takes about 15 - 20 minutes, and riding in gives you the opportunity to test ride your work afterward.
What to bring: We recommend sturdy footwear, gloves, long pants, and layering for the weather. There will be some snacks and water availble, but you are encouraged to being your own water bottle.
We will supply tools and leadership, but to ensure that we have enough of both please RSVP if you would like to attend. You can always cancel your RSVP if you choose not to attend, but it is very helpful for the crew leaders to know how many people to plan for. If we plan for 5 people we may only have tools for 5 people.
If you have questions please email Brian Tustison email@example.com
