We Raffled Off 10 Youth Mountain Bikes at This Year's Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day!
This year hundreds of families came together at Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park to celebrate Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day. With many local organizations and vendors present there was no shortage of games, activities and prizes to be enjoyed by kids and families alike. Bigfoot BMX once again hosted the "Squatch Fest" dual slalom races on the newly rebuilt Deuces Wild trail and their were racers of all ages enjoying the fun. Altogether we had more than 150 kids of all ages participating in various activities throughout the day. This year's raffle was the biggest we have ever done at Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day with 10 youth Marin mountain bikes being raffled off, 8 youth helmets and plenty of free gear to go around. A huge thank you to all of our participating organizations, vendors and volunteers for helping to make Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day one of our favorite days of the year.
This past week we were back at Duthie Hill to celebrate Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day! With more than 500 participants throughout the course of the day Duthie Hill was packed with fun. With a brand new rebuild on Deuces Wild opening just a few days prior to the event riders of all ages were eager to ride the new track and test their limits in the "Squatch Fest" dual slalom race hosted by Bigfoot BMX. The community was out in troves, with Sweetlines, Compass Outdoor Adventures and Team Booger hosting a variety of free activities to keep everyone excited right up to the raffle.
A big thank you to Marin Bikes for helping us be able to offer 10 youth mountain bikes as the show pieces for this year's raffle!
