Washington State’s Women-Specific MTB Enduro Race Announces Date, New Venue/Partership

Race organizers to host ‘Sturdy Dirty Enduro’ at Tiger Mountain trails in Issaquah

Sturdy B Racing, a Seattle-based mountain bike team dedicated to promoting women in mountain biking through racing, organized rides and trail building, today announced the date and location for 2015’s second annual Sturdy Dirty Enduro, Washington State’s only women-specific mountain bike enduro race.

The result of a partnership with Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and its program The Cascadia Dirt Cup, the event will be held at a new venue, Tiger Mountain in Issaquah, Washington on June 13, 2015. The popular trail system near Seattle has only in the last few years opened up to hosting limited race events.

Last year’s inaugural Sturdy Dirty Enduro race sold out with 125 participants. More than 20 sponsors supported the event, and 80 volunteers helped out on race day. This year, Sturdy B*tch Racing is currently seeking sponsors and volunteers.
