What do you get when you add pizza, beer, and 60 miles of upcoming trail projects to 150 mountain bikers? You get the Evergreen 2015 Annual Community Meeting!

Last Friday mountain bikers from across the state joined Evergreen leadership to hear about the upcoming plans for trailbuilding around the state, meet new officers, and give feedback on Evergreen’s 2020 Draft Vision.

Along with drinks generously provided by Schooner Exact Brewing Co, attendees were treated to statewide updates from East Chapter President Will Stone, West Sound President Brian Kilpatrick, Central Rep James Munly, Kittitas representative Andrea Nesbitt, and Methow rep Dave Acheson. Presentations times ran over with all the great projects going on around the state!

Coming from Seabrook, Ollalie, Tiger, Raging River, and planning sessions in Darrington, the crew took turns filling in the crowd about timelines, big plans, and when they could expect to get a change to put shovel to dirt.

Board President Carolyn Hope and Vice President Justin Vander Pol also took the opportunity to introduce our new Director of Operations, Dave Bandstra, and Executive Director, Yvonne Kraus.

If you missed the Annual Meeting this time around, just keep your eye on your inbox for upcoming events, notices, and building opportunities.

Evergreen's 2015 Community Meeting draws members and leaders from across the state to Mercer Island.
