Recapping Our Singletrack Soirée 2025: A Night of Laughter, Bidding & Community
What a night! On Saturday, November 8, the Evergreen community gathered at South Fork in North Bend for an unforgettable evening celebrating trails, riders, and the people who make Washington the best place to ride. 110 riders came from all over to reconnect with old friends and meet new adventure partners.
Guests arrived to the buzz of conversation, the scent of loaded baked potatoes, the live painting by Kathryn Jasperson, and a lineup of exciting auction items. The margarita bike blender was in full spin, powering up drinks and laughter as friends reconnected and new faces joined the Evergreen family.
When the lights dimmed, emcees Eddie Espinosa, Executive Director, and Tony Hickok, Statewide Board President, welcomed the crowd, setting the stage for a night filled with stories, impact, and a few friendly bidding wars. Between the local art, dream bike trips, and handcrafted gear, the silent auction brought in nearly $20,000.
Then came the Raise the Paddle moment — fueled by passion for the trails (and a little friendly competition), supporters helped Evergreen exceed the $30,000 goal, raising $35,200 in just minutes. The energy was electric — a true reflection of how much these trails and community mean to the riders, families, and volunteers who call them home.
Thanks to our dedicated community of riders, we raised a total of $66,308 (gross revenue) from this event! Thees funds will go back to our trail building, maintenance, community and education programs.
As one attendee put it:
“Evergreen has given us a new lease on life as we enjoy that second phase in family life when parents get to be kids again and play as a couple. The trails out there now, thanks to Evergreen, are incredible.”

The evening wrapped with a stand-up set from comedian Scott Losse, whose smart humor and trail-inspired jokes had the room laughing well into dessert. Every mountain biker was entertained with jokes about Duthie Hill and Tiger Mountain, to e-bikes and analog bikes. And despite a few windy moments outside, the power stayed on — and so did the good vibes.
“It was a terrific time! Congratulations on such a successful event — we loved supporting you in it.”
“Evergreen is amazing.”
“So glad you met your fundraising goal — that was such a fun night!”

The Singletrack Soirée wasn’t just a fundraiser — it was a reminder of what makes this community so special: riders, families, donors, and partners coming together to keep Washington’s trail network thriving.
From all of us at Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, thank you for showing up, bidding big, laughing hard, and helping us continue to build and maintain the trails that bring us all together.
This event kicks off the giving season so stay tuned for more stories from our team during our End-Of-Year fundraiser. Cheers to our community and more exciting projects ahead!
